Stem Cell

Heard of stem cell therapy.  Its a relatively new topic that not many people are aware of.  As our body grows older by the day, our body immune system weakens.  Our cells in our body are dying every single day and it takes time for new cells to regenerate.  Take example for diabetic patients, for type 1 diabetes, their pancreas isn't able to produce insulin and as for type 2 diabetics, their body isn't able to produce the required insulin the body needs and so as this would lead to further problems and yes they would be on medication for a long term basis.  Although they live the lifestyle like any others would, but if they have diabetes and exercise and eat the right proportion of food, do you think that they are unlikely to develop further complications such as retinopathy, neuropathy and so on?  The answer is yes there will be chances that they will still have all these complications.  Wonder how stem cells work in our body so as to ensure good maintenance of the organs and our body??????

" LET'S EXPLORE" I will leave it at this now and will update more in my next article continuos from part 1

Random Diary Input

Alot of things are going through my mind now and well I am suprisingly awake and like half sleepy.  Washing machine is out again.  I just finish my attachement last week Friday and well least to say it was enjoyable and interesting.  Somehow I feel I am a weird person, I just like doing what I do.  Just got 3 new hamsters which I adopted from my cousin as his hamsters were giving birth again and well they didn't have the finance to support all of them.  Most of the time, these hamsters were starving.  My daughter's birthday wish was wanting hamsters so I thought why not rite.... Just do it.  Kill two birds with one stone.  Save the hamsters and at the same time give my daughter an early birthday present.  I am glad that she loves her present.  Sometimes it makes me wonder, why are some people like that.  Animals are like humans, they need love and proper care so why get the pets so recklessly and not think through before getting them.  I wish that I own a petting zoo for abandon pets where animals would be happy and carefree with lots of love and care.  Well its just a dream rite.  Gotta stop now. Time for washing up and go to bed.  Lights out.  Nites all

Throwback Monday 2/3/1015 - Daytrip To Malaysia with my parents

We headed out of the house to JB yesterday early morning.  Took a bus 168 to woodlands and took another bus 950 into JB.  It was something new I learnt like how to get to JB from Tampines.  Upon reaching JB, my parents decided to go and eat.  Oh my gosh the foodcourt at the mall, the food was horrible.  Kinda of threw up everything that I ate and well my stomach hurts after.  After eating, my dad was like counting his money and seeing him do that in public in Malaysia was scary. It was like he had no fear attitude.  Toilets were clean but different from Singapore.  I doubt you would even think of doing your business there. Flushing system sucked.
Boarded the bus and headed further inwards towards North Malaysia. Ride was bumpy as the roads weren't like smooth. The bus system has advance to cash and ticket proccess by the bus ticket machine same as how Singapore bus system is.  The only difference is that there wsn't any card tapping at all.  When taking the bus, I felt amused and curious about the things that I saw because its different from out local context.  The trip back was alright.  Overall the trip was good.

Throwback Saturday 28/2/2015

On this super hot day, Des, her boyfriend and me went to return the library books at Nanyang Poly.  I borrowed these books for the examinations for sociology.  It was like overdue.  We then proceed to go to scape for dinner and walked around.  Suprisingly, Des decided to pierce her ears.  She looked nice with the earrings. Of course we did buy other stuff like Alfie's shoes and hat.  He looked so cute and I guess awkward with the shoes cause afterall he hasn't worn it for some time already.  Great day out with them.
