How well do you know your maids that you employ from foreign countries?

How well do you know your maids?  Do you know when they are telling the truth or lies? Whether they are hiding behind a facade or not we won't really know...... This incidents really happened to my relatives here in Singapore.

My aunt she hired a maid and tsk tsk.... Guess what she did.... Each time the children left some loose change from their pocket money or someone leaves some loose change on the table, be it $0.10 - less than $5 in coins, the maid would pocket the change and pretend as if nothing had happened. Imagine how much she would have collected by end of one year plus before they had found out about it....I believe she would have made quite alot in her collection.

The second incident also happened to a relative of mine.  She lives in a terrace house and the back door was stacked up lots of boxes so as to prevent people from trying to break in.  The maid suprisingly manage to squeeze herself  through a tiny space and would sneak out after 12mn till next morning 6am -7am  cause that's when the household start to wake up.  She went out in the night with a bangladash worker and camping out in a tent which belonged to the owner at the beach giving him the best time of his life. Apparently this silly girl thought that he was for real, he promised to look after her for life and would marry her one day when the time was right but actually he conned her.  She actually had a bag ready packed up to go out every single night.  She would dress up like a student.  My relative took all the evidence photos and contacted the agent for the maid.  The guy started to hang around my relatives place and well unfortunately for him was caught on camera.  They lured the guy out by calling his mobile (mobile number was taken from the maid's mobile) saying that their friend (actually the maid) was in trouble and had fainted at a shopping centre, the guy rush over and was trapped by the owner and the agent.  He admitted that he never had the intention of marrying her but just wanted a free ride....... The maid was so upset that she fainted.  Both of them have been sent back to their native country and I am very sure that the maid must have gone back in shame and as for the guy, I'm not so sure if he did feel guilty.....

Actually if you do go to lucky plaza in orchard, you are able to have a first-hand look at what the maids do like hang out, meet their boyfriends or maybe moonlight.......  Well its better to be careful than sorry.
